FIRST EDITION

Six days inside Kolkata's Durga Pujo —
the living art festival that transforms an entire city.
Experience as a guest, not a visitor.

I

The city you never knew existed

Every October, a city of fifteen million people stops being a city. Kolkata becomes a living art & heritage — its streets, its rooftops, its river, its oldest families all consumed by a five-day sacred event that has no equivalent anywhere on earth. You are yet to be inside it.

II

The version no visitor ever sees

There are two Durga Pujas. The one the world photographs — crowds, lights, famous pandals. Then there is the other one. The private courtyards of 200-year-old North Kolkata families, where rituals are conducted with heritage, context and meaning. The sculptor in Kumartuli, who begins work in April, following rhythms based on tradition.

III

Zyvago was built for this

Zyvago is a context-led cultural immersive experience. We build programmes around one cultural event, one city, one season. Designed for those who know the difference between witnessing and truly experiencing.

A NOTE ON ACCESS

The sculptor's door
is open.
It always has been.

Kumartuli is not a destination — it is a relationship.

The finest artists here have given interviews. They have welcomed visitors.

What they have never given is the conversation that happens after the camera is put away — the one where three hundred years of craft becomes personal, where the river clay becomes a philosophy, where you stop being a guest and start being a witness.
