Programme Participation Policy

1. Purpose

This Programme Participation Policy is intended to ensure a safe, respectful, culturally sensitive, and well-coordinated travel experience for all guests participating in Zyvago tours, experiences, itineraries, heritage walks, cultural visits, and curated programmes.

By participating in any programme organized or facilitated by Zyvago, guests agree to comply with the guidelines set forth herein, along with all reasonable instructions communicated by Zyvago representatives, local coordinators, guides, venue authorities, and destination partners.

2. Attendance & Timeliness

Guests are requested to maintain punctuality and adhere to the communicated reporting times, departure schedules, meeting points, and programme timings throughout the itinerary.

Many experiences, heritage visits, transport schedules, cultural programmes, and venue access arrangements operate on fixed timelines and may not be extendable due to operational or third-party restrictions.

Zyvago shall not be held responsible for missed experiences, delayed participation, denied entry, or additional expenses arising from:

• Late arrival by the guest

• Failure to follow communicated schedules

• Failure to remain reachable during programme timings

• Voluntary departure from scheduled activities without prior coordination

Where feasible, Zyvago may attempt reasonable assistance; however, continuation or rejoining of missed programme components cannot be guaranteed.

3. Access Rules & Heritage Site Conduct

Guests are expected to respect all rules, customs, restrictions, and instructions applicable at:

• Heritage sites

• Religious places

• Cultural venues

• Museums

• Private properties

• Community spaces

• Government-protected monuments

• Event venues and local establishments

Certain locations may impose restrictions relating to:

• Footwear

• Dress code

• Photography or videography

• Noise levels

• Entry timing

• Restricted-access areas

• Food, beverages, smoking, or alcohol consumption

Guests are solely responsible for complying with such requirements and are expected to behave respectfully toward local communities, traditions, religious sentiments, and cultural practices.

Zyvago reserves the right to deny or discontinue participation of any guest whose conduct is reasonably considered disruptive, unsafe, disrespectful, unlawful, or materially inconsistent with the nature of the experience.

4. Photography, Videography & Content Etiquette

Guests are welcome to capture personal photographs and videos during the programme unless otherwise restricted by law, local regulations, venue policies, cultural sensitivities, or instructions communicated by Zyvago or site authorities.

Guests are requested to exercise respectful and responsible conduct while photographing or recording:

• Local residents

• Children

• Religious ceremonies

• Cultural performances

• Private properties

• Restricted areas

• Fellow travelers

• Zyvago staff or partners

Photography or recording may be prohibited or restricted at certain heritage, religious, governmental, security-sensitive, or privately managed locations.

Guests shall remain personally responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, permissions, and venue-specific restrictions relating to photography, drone usage, filming equipment, or commercial content creation.

Any unauthorized commercial filming, disruptive content creation, unsafe conduct for social media purposes, or invasion of privacy may result in restricted access, removal from the programme, or intervention by local authorities or venue management.

5. Safety & Instructions

Guests are expected to follow all reasonable safety instructions, advisories, operational directions, and logistical guidance provided by:

• Zyvago representatives

• Tour coordinators

• Local guides

• Venue authorities

• Transport operators

• Event organizers

Participation in certain cultural, walking, outdoor, transport-based, or experiential activities may involve varying environmental, infrastructural, weather-related, or local conditions.

Guests are encouraged to exercise reasonable personal judgment, maintain awareness of surroundings, and communicate any medical, mobility, or accessibility concerns in advance wherever reasonably possible.

6. Programme Changes & Operational Flexibility

Certain programme elements may be modified, rescheduled, substituted, shortened, or cancelled due to factors including but not limited to:

• Weather conditions

• Government restrictions

• Local administrative orders

• Religious observances

• Crowd management requirements

• Venue restrictions

• Operational considerations

• Safety concerns

• Force majeure circumstances

Zyvago shall make commercially reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives where feasible; however, uninterrupted access to all originally planned programme components cannot be guaranteed at all times.

7. Respectful Participation

Zyvago promotes responsible, culturally aware, and community-conscious travel experiences.

Guests are expected to engage respectfully with fellow travelers, local communities, guides, artists, cultural practitioners, venue staff, and service providers throughout the programme.

Any conduct involving harassment, discrimination, abusive language, intoxicated misconduct, unsafe behavior, or deliberate disruption of the guest experience may result in suspension or termination of participation without refund where reasonably necessary for safety, operational integrity, or the comfort of other participants.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Programme Participation Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute arising in connection with this Policy or participation in any Zyvago programme shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
